The nintendo DS browser allows you to browse the web on your DS. Well, thats what it is supposed to do in theory. It does not support sound and it can not play videos, the loading time is really bad (dial up speed) and it is very hard to type.
If you bought the browser, don't throw it away, you might actually like it.
First of all it comes with yahoo search engine by default, it is very slow and not so good with search results, I recomend google. To change your search engine on the DS you go to settings and click on Search Engine. To change it to google you need to click on "other" and type in the following:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%s
click on the check mark and let it save
now everytime you type in the search box from the start page, it will give you google search results.
To make it a little less ennoying uncheck help dialogs and tips.
Use browser lock if you don't want anybody else using it as it will ask you for a password everytime you turn it on.
Use bookmarks, save your favorite sites and change the option if you want it to load images, it will make loading much faster.
Change the start links to anything you want, the chances are you won't go to nintendo site from your ds or use parental controls.
Use mobile versions of Gmail Yahoo Hotnail and Google.com mobile.
they work perfectly on the DS, load very fast and are easier to use on a small screen.
